Petals for Parkinson's
Petals for Parkinson’s is an initiative within Kids for Parkinson’s® that brings connection to seniors in honor of Patients with Parkinson’s disease. Our students we educate about Parkinson's disease and our volunteers hand‑craft paper flowers and write thoughtful notes. Then, the flowers are delivered to assisted living and nursing home residents in our of Parkinson's patients as a gesture of kindness and support. Each flower symbolizes hope, compassion, and community, reminding individuals with Parkinson’s that they are valued and never forgotten.

The Kids for Parkinson’s® Education Program is an initiative focused on providing clear, accessible, kid‑friendly resources that help young people understand Parkinson’s disease. Our materials explain symptoms, treatments, and daily challenges in simple language, empowering children to support loved ones and build empathy. This initiative ensures that no child feels confused or alone when someone they care about is diagnosed.
Melodies for Parkinson’s is a music‑based outreach initiative within Kids for Parkinson’s®, where student volunteers perform live music in assisted living and nursing homes to uplift residents. Through instrumental pieces, familiar songs, and warm interaction, we aim to create moments of joy, connection, and emotional comfort. This initiative reflects our belief that music can bridge generations and bring communities closer together.
